Tell us about your business, when was it formed and what do you do?

Meiller Aufzugtüren GmbH, a subsidiary of Meiller, specializes in the development and production of high-quality elevator doors. The company is known for its durable and innovative door systems used in both new elevator installations and modernization projects. While Meiller itself has a long history dating back to 1850 in the engineering and manufacturing sector, Meiller Aufzugtüren GmbH was established as a separate entity focusing on elevator doors.

Who are your customers? Which markets do you serve?

Lift companies doing new installation and modernization, and manufacturers of all sizes, also we work with Consultants and Architects with specifications and key projects. Markets include UK, Europe, Scandinavia, Middle east , Australia and other overseas countries.

How many times have you been to LIFTEX?

This is the first time Meiller is exhibiting at LIFTEX, At Previous LIFTEX exhibitions Meiller participated along with UK agents at the time.

What are the main issues that your customers deal with and how do you help them?

Finding quality Lift doors for existing or special projects, Meiller are able to help customers by supply solutions, both as complete doors or Modernization of existing Lift doors.

Are there any issues that specifiers, contractors / owners should be aware of in the next 12 months?

Regulations regarding building Fire Safety and design. New EN ISO 8100-1/2. Increasing use of Lift monitoring diagnostics to help improve reliability of Lifts.

How can we, as an industry, help designers and building owners to become more energy efficient and meet Net Zero targets?

Ensure as many components as possible are manufactured using energy efficiency in the case of the lift doors, using Meiller MiDrive door controller to provide the optimum running of the doors in the most energy efficient way possible. Developing quality products with the longest possible lifetime.

What will you be promoting / what can visitors expect to see on your stand?

Several Lifts Doors including Single Panel Door, High-Speed and vertical doors, Modernization systems and Door monitoring via MiDrive.

What advice would you give to anyone visiting the show? What should they look for and how can they get the most from their visit?

Review the show guide and decide which product or supplier is of interest to you, then visit these first, then take your time walking around rest of the show and enjoy the various stands and products that will be there.
