MEMCO by AVIRE is a global leader in connected safety and emergency communication solutions, trusted for over 50 years. We specialise in lift communication and safety systems, offering certified and reliable products and services, including autodiallers, light curtains, and a cloud based monitoring software.

Our solutions ensure compliance with industry regulations, protect building users, supporting the lift sector with innovative and dependable technology.

Who are your customers? Which markets do you serve?

Our customers include Independent Lift Maintenance companies, OEMs, Lift Consultants and Communication Providers within the lift industry. We serve global markets, providing solutions for commercial, residential, and public buildings.

Our products, services and software ensure compliance, safety, and efficiency, supporting the lift sector in adapting to evolving regulatory and technological requirements.

How many times have you been to LIFTEX?

What are the main issues that your customers deal with and how do you help them?

Our customers face challenges from changes within the lift industry, such as evolving regulations, and infrastructure changes in telecommunications, including managing the PSTN switch-off, maintaining reliable emergency communication systems, and adapting to shifts like the 2G/3G sunset. We support them with solutions like emergency autodiallers, the AVIRE Hub for real-time monitoring, and the AVIRE Install App, ensuring resilient emergency comms to keep building occupants safe.

Are there any issues that specifiers, contractors / owners should be aware of in the next 12 months?

Advancements in communication infrastructure, such as the transition from 2G/3G networks, the PSTN switch-off by 2027 and removal of DTMF signalling, are driving change across the lift sector.
