Tell us about your business, when was it formed and what do you do?

Stepless specialises in platform lift solutions, offering high-quality products that remove barriers caused by height differences, ensuring that individuals with limited mobility can access buildings and transportation easily and with dignity. Improving access can be challenging, particularly in older or historically protected buildings. We create discreet and aesthetically pleasing solutions that enhance accessibility without compromising the visual or architectural integrity of the building.

Who are your customers? Which markets do you serve?

Stepless products provide more dignified and accessible solutions for individuals with walking difficulties, wheelchair users, and others reliant on wheeled movement. We cater to markets that require improved access, including heritage buildings, public buildings, private homes, and public transport.

How many times have you been to LIFTEX?

Twice, in 2019 and 2022.

What are the main issues that your customers deal with and how do you help them?

Height differences can create limitations for individuals with mobility impairments. Our platform lifts help users negotiate height differences of up to 3 metres and require much less space than a system of ramps, ideal for installing in places where ramps would be too steep or too long. By manufacturing unobtrusive and aesthetically pleasing solutions, Stepless bespoke solutions ensure access for all without compromising the visual appearance or architectural heritage of a building.

How can we, as an industry, help designers and building owners to become more energy efficient and meet Net Zero targets?

The global landscape is evolving rapidly, we stand firm in our commitment to confront these challenges and drive change. Our second CSR report titled “Sustainability and Social Impact.” explains how we aim to deliver a transparent overview of our environmental and social impact. We have carefully selected three of the Sustainability Development Goals where we can have the most substantial impact; decent work and economic growth, responsible consumption and production, and climate action.

What will you be promoting / what can visitors expect to see on your stand?

We will be promoting our state-of-the-art platform lift solutions. Our stand will feature one of our platform lifts, allowing visitors the opportunity to experience its functionality first hand. In addition, we will be able to showcase stories that highlight how our platform lifts have made a significant impact, improving access for all.

What advice would you give to anyone visiting the show? What should they look for and how can they get the most from their visit?

Plan ahead to ensure ample time to visit desired stands and explore new products. Our innovative special platform lifts are a conversation topic they won’t want to miss.
