Ian has worked in the lift industry for over 43 years, and obtained his Masters Degree in lift engineering in 2005. He is the co-chair of the LEIA Quality & Technical Committee; a member of BSI MHE/4 Lifts, hoists and escalators; a member of the revision panel for BS 5655 Part 11; and a member of the European Lift Association Safety Accessibility and Energy Efficiency working group.
